This
20 meter motor yacht has been especially designed for the European open and
inland waters. The fact that this yacht has to be able to sail through the
French or Dutch canals as well as in the Mediterranean has proven to be an extra
complication. The maximum dimensions for beam, draught, height and length are
limited. On the other hand the client had specific wishes like a very luxurious
interior for seven people, a full scale technical double installation and all
the hydraulic comforts one can think of, like a swimming platform, two gangways,an
automatic foldable mast, bow and stern thrusters etc. If fact it had to be a
superyacht within the parameters of the given dimensions. The yacht has proven
to be a very comfortable home during extensive voyages.
In addition this design shows that it can all be accomplished within an eye caching profile even regarding the uncompromising SI-regulations (Shipping Inspectorate) and Lloyd's SSC-regulations. (The yacht has been delivered with a hull certificate.)
